The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to your community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed concerning the significant quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The services level developed for intervention encounters a large influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for the Workplace to attend to all people who SRD stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to empower the servicing of all buyers and boost access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
